What we store

Kurato shows what museum shops sell. Nothing is sold here, so there is no checkout, no payment data and no advertising.

In your browser

Your currency choice is kept in a cookie. The pieces you save with the heart are kept in this browser's storage. Neither leaves your device unless you sign in.

If you sign in

We store your email address, the display name you choose, a hashed version of your password, the collections you make and the pieces you save, so they follow you across devices. A cookie keeps you signed in for ninety days.

Newsletters

Only if you tick the box. Every mail has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can change the setting in your account at any time. We record when consent was given or withdrawn.

What we do not do

No analytics or tracking cookies, no sharing of your address with anyone, no profiling. Product images are loaded from the shops' own servers, which may see your IP address as any image request would.

Deleting your account

Write to the address in the footer and we remove your account, collections and saved pieces.
